Dell Inspiron 1420 Review
If you are searching for a lightweight, functional laptop, then the Dell Inspiron 1420 is a great choice for the price. Released back in 2007, this model is still highly popular today. With a base price beginning at just under $800, the 1420 offers everything that you need for work and play. With the included Intel Core 2 Duo processor and an optional Blu-Ray drive, you can do virtually anything that you need to do with this laptop. It is built tough, to withstand daily use and an occasional oops, and weighs in at just over five pounds. Its sleek look is both attractive and completely mobile. Other features of the 1420 include four USB ports, Wireless Bluetooth 2.0 functionality, a 2.0 mega pixel webcam and the Windows Vista home premium OS. You can choose between the standard six cell Lithium Ion battery, or add the nine cell for just a few extra dollars. With the six cell, you can expect to see around three to four hours of life. The nine cell gives you just over five hours. Overall, the Dell Inspiron 1420 is an excellent laptop for the price. Whether you grab the base model or add a few more features, you will find that there is nothing that you can’t do with this one.
