Dell Inspiron 1501 Review
It has often been said that you get what you pay for and while this is certainly true, keep in mind that sometimes you just don’t need to pay for what you don’t need. The Dell Inspiron 1501 is the perfect laptop for those who need a bit of functionality without all the bells and whistles of other laptops. Measuring in at just 14X10.4X1.4 inches, this little laptop packs a lot of applications in such a small package. The widescreen is 15.4 inches and offers the perfect viewing capacity for watching DVDs and other media files. The 1501 features several ports and jacks including four USB jacks and even a three-in-one memory card reader. Again, while it does not include many of the higher graphic controls and abilities, for those simply looking for a reliable laptop at a fair price, the 1501 is a good choice. It does come with XP Media Center 2005 and an entertainment pack for photos, games and digital music files as well as Microsoft Works 8, Adobe Acrobat and other applications. Even if you only get what you pay for, at less than $800, the Dell Inspiron 1501 is worth every penny.
