Dell Inspiron 1520 Review
At only 6 ½ pounds, the Dell Inspiron 1520 doesn’t feel like much of a laptop, but when you get inside you find that it may just be everything you need. This little machine is considered to be a mainstream notebook by many and offers many features that were not included in earlier models by Dell. With an Intel Core 2 Duo T7300 Processor and a 160 GB hard drive, this may just be all the computer you need. While it is still considered smaller than many, it does include many features that other smaller laptops do not have. Measuring in at just 15.4 inches, it is the perfect size for those on the go. Graphics are much better on the 1520 than on previous versions such as the 1501, so if you have a need for graphics, this is the better choice. The OS is Vista Home Premium. Unfortunately for XP lovers, it is not available with this option. Still, for the price Vista works just fine depending on what you need to do with it. With four USB ports, an eight-in-one Memory Card Reader and dual digital mics, the Dell Inspiron 1520 is a much more serious laptop than its earlier cousins.
