Dell Inspiron 6400 Review

In a perfect world, you would be able to find a laptop that contains all the performance features you need while still being lightweight and easy to carry. Well, meet the Dell Inspiron 6400. This little beauty offers all the features and performance that you need in a lightweight notebook. With Intel Core Duo T2400 technology, a 15.4 inch widescreen XGA display with Truelife, 1 GB of Ram and the included Windows XP media center, what more could you ask for in a laptop? While the 6400 is not the perfect choice for serious gamers, it does offer some excellent options and features for others. If you want a laptop that is virtually noiseless, this is a good choice. When you are simply doing daily tasks such as checking emails and internet browsing, you hear nothing from this little jewel. As far as connectivity, the Intel Pro Wireless card is excellent for keeping you in touch. The 6400 experiences very few dropped connections and the battery life runs nearly four hours between charges. Add to that the four USB ports, S Video port and VGA and you have virtually everything that you need all in one package. Applications that are preloaded in the laptop include McAfee, Power DVD, Word and Sonic Digital Media, among others. Overall, the Dell Inspiron 6400 is a good laptop for the price. Multitaskers will love the Core Duo technology. For those who simply need good performance, a fast processor and an extended battery life, this is a good choice for the money.
